The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Seshego has opened a murder case following the grim discovery of a young woman’s body in Moletji Matekereng on Monday, 24 November 2025.
According to police reports, authorities were alerted to the scene and upon arrival, discovered the deceased, a 20-year-old woman. The victim was dressed in a white skirt and a pink jersey at the time she was found. A preliminary examination revealed that she had sustained severe injuries to her upper body.
The police have initiated a manhunt for the suspect(s) responsible and are appealing to the public for assistance.

The motive for the killing is currently unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
