Massive fire breaks out at Randfontein cooking oil factory
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage suffered after a massive fire yesterday are unclear at this stage.
A massive fire broke out at a cooking oil factory along Homestead Avenue in Randfontein early yesterday morning.
It is not clear what caused the inferno that engulfed parts of the factory and the exact extent of the damage is unknown.
The Randfontein Herald has contacted the company and fire department, but both have yet to issue statements about the incident.
Their feedback will be published as soon as it is received.
