WESTERN CAPE — In the immediate aftermath of a deadly Langa mass shooting, coordinated police action has led to a major illegal firearm seizure and the disruption of local narcotics distribution. Spokespersons representing the Western Cape POCC, alongside the Anti-Economic Crime Task Team and the Provincial Counterfeit and Illicit Goods policing team, confirmed that the swift crackdown on Sunday, 09 August 2026, was a direct tactical response to a weekend tragedy.
