In a targeted operation against gang violence, the Delft Crime Combatting Unit uncovered a stash of ammunition and narcotics in Voorbrug on Saturday evening.
While conducting disruptive operations in the area, officers searched a premises on Blompot Street. The search led to the discovery of:

50 rounds of ammunition

One plastic bag containing crystal meth

Three small plastic packets containing cocaine

Eight mandrax tablets

An undisclosed amount of cash
An adult male was arrested at the scene for dealing in drugs. The suspect is expected to appear in the Bellville Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
