Farm murders indicate consequences of Malema’s remarks, according to the FF+

The recent farm attacks, including the most recent incident in Randfontein where six people were murdered, clearly highlight the dire consequences of Julius Malema’s inflammatory statements according to the FF+. By encouraging violence against farmers and white people, Malema and his EFF party reveal their lack of peaceful intentions, according to a statement by Dr Pieter Groenewald. Previous incidents have shown that such statements often lead to mass killings of innocent people, as seen when Malema sang the “Death the Farmer” song last Sunday, Groenewald adds in his press release.

In the attack on the Randridge smallholdings, a family was targeted, where the father was killed and the mother seriously injured. The incident involved the use of an AK-47 assault rifle, pointing to the problem of illegal firearms in the country. Despite the increasing brutality of these attacks, the silence and inaction of the country’s courts, institutions, and even President Cyril Ramaphosa is unacceptable, the FF+ explains.
