A farm murder took place on 2 February 2023, at 08:30, on a farm along M.C. Roode drive in Potchefstroom in the North West province of South Africa.
Four attackers overpowered Charl Bekker (74) outside the home.
Charl Bekker was assaulted and fattaly strangled.
The four then threatened the domestic worker and overpowered the farmers wife Elzabe (70).
Elzabe was assaulted and tied up. The attackers demanded the keys to the safe.
The attackers ransacked the home and fled with a number of items and fled in the couples Mercedes Benz.
Elzabe was not seriously injured during the attack.
Police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
