Tonight I want to post this on Facebook in support of our colleague and friend, Hein Kilian and his son Zane. As everyone probably knows by now, Zane has been held in prison in the Cape for more than three (3) years on charges linked to kamma’s murder of the former police officer, Kol. Kennear who was shot dead three years ago in front of his house. Zane cannot get a sponsor because according to the NVG he is a danger to the community and that while a murder charge has not been made against him. He pinged a phone number! The photo of the alleged killer police have given to the media and social media as Kinnear’s killer does not look like Zane at all. At the time of the murder, Zane was a muscular young man guarding his body and the little man they showed, taken with a community camera at the home, was a small skinny boy. If this was ever a male, he was wearing a hoodie. Zane’s father’s house and Zane’s house were raided in the midnight hours and Zane was taken to the Cape where he was held in the Belville police cells for 35 days and was awakened every hour of the night/ He had to take off his clothes when he came from Transferred one cell to the other. When he refused to sign a ready-prepared statement drafted by the police, another complaint was filed against him. He is the father of a child with special needs who is now taken care of by the child’s grandfather, Hein. Being taken care of. Cape police know exactly who pulled the speeder and who planned the murder, but the people are not being arrested and Zane simply cannot get a sponsor. People when I look at murderers, police officers, child rapists right within the first week of their arrest on bail and Zane has been on ridiculous charges for 3 years that there’s plenty of evidence he didn’t. Hein and Zane’s legal team has struggled to find a court date now from November 27 to 30 where there will be renewed bail applications or better yet, the cases against Zane can be dismissed. This legal team has boxes full of new and shocking information that will be presented in court. The truth is about to come out.
