GAUTENG – The South African Police Service (SAPS) has announced a major breakthrough in the Dawn Park murder case, marking a critical development in the broader investigation into a series of murders involving women across Gauteng. Authorities have successfully apprehended three suspects connected to the death of the ninth victim in this high-profile case series.
The suspects, comprising one man and two women, were taken into custody over the weekend by operatives from the Gauteng Murder and Robbery Unit. They are scheduled to make their first appearance today at the Boksburg Magistrates’ Court, where further details of the investigation are expected to be formally presented and ventilated.
Acting National Commissioner of the SAPS, Lieutenant General Puleng Dimpane, confirmed that law enforcement is actively seized with all nine murder cases, emphasizing that each investigation is being treated with the highest priority.
