EFF Launches Provincial Election Manifesto in eMalahleni as Julius Malema Targets November 4th Local Government Elections

EMALAHLENI, Mpumalanga — The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) officially kicked off its provincial election manifesto launch in eMalahleni, drawing massive crowds of supporters braving cold temperatures to hear party leader Julius Malema outline the movement’s strategic promises ahead of the November 4th local government elections.

The atmosphere at the SY Mthimunye stadium was highly charged, with long queues forming outside the venue well before the proceedings began. Despite the chilly weather conditions, scores of dedicated supporters had already filled the stadium stands, eager to witness the party’s roadmap for municipal governance.

Julius Malema is set to deliver the keynote address, utilizing the high-profile platform to detail the EFF’s policy priorities and commitments to voters. The event serves as a critical mobilization tool for the party as it intensifies its campaign efforts ahead of the crucial November 4th municipal polls.

On the ground, supporters from various regions voiced strong motivations for their attendance, highlighting pressing socio-economic concerns. Many emphasized the urgent need for permanent employment opportunities, particularly advocating for better inclusion and job security for people with disabilities. Attendees also called for decisive action to eradicate systemic workplace racism.

Expressing deep frustration with the current political establishment, supporters pointed to the African National Congress’s (ANC) more than three decades in power as a period of unmet promises and declining service delivery.

“We are tired of racism; we are tired of unemployment,” one supporter stated, capturing the widespread sentiment at the venue. Another attendee echoed this view, noting that the ANC is failing the populace and expressing strong confidence that the EFF is positioned to deliver superior governance and tangible change compared to the long-standing ruling party.

The manifesto launch marks a significant escalation in the EFF’s campaign strategy, aiming to convert grassroots enthusiasm into measurable electoral gains this November.
