SAPS Kariega Crime Prevention officers arrested two suspects and seized drugs valued at approximately R100,000 during an intelligence-driven operation in the Kariega CBD.
Acting on information about a local drug distribution network, police searched a premises on John Street. The search yielded quantities of Tik and Mandrax, a scale, and cash believed to be proceeds of crime.
The two male suspects, aged 48 and 50, were arrested on charges of dealing in and possession of drugs. They are detained and will appear in the Kariega Magistrate’s Court soon.
