A suspect in a Giyani house robbery was arrested on Thursday, 15 January 2026, by the Mopani District Tracking Team and Mopani Trio Crime Detectives.
The robbery occurred on Saturday, 01 November 2025, at approximately 01:50 in the Giyani D1 Section. A female victim identified one suspect during the crime.
The victim reported the case. On Tuesday, 08 January 2026, she saw the suspect in the Giyani CBD and informed the investigating officer.
Tracking efforts led to the suspect’s apprehension while he was on his way to his residence in the D1 Section.
The suspect will appear in the Giyani Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 19 January 2026, charged with house robbery.
