A man has been arrested by the Provincial Drug and Firearms Unit on South Coast Road in Montclair for possession of cocaine.
Police acted on intelligence that the suspect had drugs intended for distribution in the Umlazi area. They intercepted his vehicle and recovered cocaine packaged in plastic wrapping and glass vials.
The drugs have an estimated street value of R170,000. The suspect’s vehicle was seized.
He will appear in court soon.
