30-Year-Old Arrested After Fraserburg Drug Raid

The South African Police Service in Fraserburg arrested a 30-year-old man early today.

The arrest followed a report from a woman who stated her boyfriend assaulted her and was selling drugs from a residence in Asla, Fraserburg. Officers proceeded to the address, where the suspect attempted to flee but was apprehended.

A search of the premises uncovered four bags of dagga valued at approximately R8,000 and one small bag of a white substance suspected to be tik. The suspect remains in custody.
