The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Social Crime Prevention Unit Officers, successfully reunited a twelve (12) year-old missing child with his family in the Thembisa area.
Officers responded to a complaint about a missing child at the Engen garage, on the corner of Rev RTJ Namane Drive and Ruth First Street in Hospital View. After swift action and investigation, the child was safely located and reunited with his family in Ivory Park Extension 2.
The EMPD urges parents and guardians to prioritise the safety of their children at all times and to remain vigilant, especially during the busy festive season. The Department remains committed to the protection of vulnerable members of the community.
