The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Springbok has arrested two men for the illegal possession of endangered species.
The suspects, aged 30 and 37, were arrested during an operation in the Springbok area. The 30-year-old is from Bergsig and the 37-year-old is from Okiep.
The investigation began after the suspects allegedly attempted to courier a significant number of scorpions, which are a protected species.
