A 31-year-old man is in police custody following the fatal stabbing of a 41-year-old man at Sebora Village in the early hours of Sunday, 23 November 2025.
According to police reports, officers responded to a complaint of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Upon their arrival at the scene, they discovered the body of a man lying on the ground, facing upwards and covered with a blanket. Emergency Medical Services personnel were immediately summoned and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim sustained stab wounds to the upper body with a sharp object. A murder case was subsequently opened, and the 31-year-old suspect was arrested immediately.
The motive for the killing is currently unknown, and police investigations are ongoing.
The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Seshego District Court on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, to face a formal charge of murder.
