Klipgat Police Nab Four in Kidnapping and Armed Robbery Case

A tactical, intelligence-driven operation by Klipgat Detectives on Thursday evening, 20 November 2025, led to the arrest of four suspects for kidnapping and armed robbery.

The investigation was launched following an incident earlier this month in which a businessperson was allegedly kidnapped and robbed during a deal at Madibeng Hills, Klipgat.

According to police, critical information was received during the investigation and swiftly operationalised. This led the team to Slovoville, Klipgat, where they successfully traced and arrested the four suspects.

During the arrests, police recovered the stolen items, which included two Pioneer CDJs, a Dixon mixing console, a power adaptor, four power cables, and an iPhone. The total value of the confiscated property is estimated at R29,000.

The suspects, aged between 18 and 22, are scheduled to make their first appearance in the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 24 November 2025, to face charges of kidnapping and armed robbery.
