Malandela George Mbela, a 48-year-old man, has been remanded in custody after allegedly robbing and assaulting a 70-year-old farmer, his 68-year-old wife, and their 34-year-old daughter on their farm in the Buffelshoek area. The incident occurred on October 12, 2025, and Mbela, a former employee of the farm, reportedly handed himself over to the police on October 13, 2025. He is facing charges of robbery and assault.
