Police have arrested four suspects following an alleged vigilante attack that resulted in the death of a 28-year-old man in Nekkies, Knysna.
The incident occurred on Friday, 01 August 2025, when officers responded to a report of a vigilante attack at approximately 10:50. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim’s body with multiple injuries. Paramedics at the scene confirmed the man’s death.
An intensive investigation led to the arrest of three men and one woman, aged between 25 and 39, who were positively linked to the crime. The suspects remain in police custody and are scheduled to appear in the Knysna Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 04 August 2025, to face a murder charge.
Authorities have indicated that the investigation is ongoing, and further arrests may follow as new evidence emerges.
