The Gauteng Traffic Police helicopter was dispatched to assist a Rapid Response vehicle in pursuit of two SUVs traveling at extremely high speeds on the N3. With aerial support, the vehicles were successfully stopped, and the drivers were detained at Alexandra SAPS for reckless and negligent driving.
During the arrest, two firearms were found and booked into evidence. Although the suspects claimed the firearms belonged to a security company, they were detained for further investigation.
