BRIDGE CAMP – Police in Bridge Camp SAPS have launched manhunt for unknown suspects involved in attempted murder and robbery that occurred at a farm outside Cofimvaba yesterday, 21 April 2024, at about 19:00.

It is alleged that a 74-year-old man was busy collecting his livestock when four armed men entered his premises demanding money from him. They then entered his house and took a flat screen television, and on their way out, they shot him in his leg. The suspects fled the scene using a silver grey Suzuki vehicle. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Police were called to the scene, and a case of attempted murder as well as robbery were opened for further investigation.
