Man murdered in Humewood parking lot in Gqeberha – identified

Police in Gqeberha have identified the man who was gunned down while in his car, which was parked at the Humerail shopping centre in Humewood.

Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says 44-year-old Lisa Faku’s body was discovered in the driver’s seat of his VW Polo on Saturday night.

She says Faku sustained multiple gunshot wounds and the driver’s side and rear left window of his car were shattered.

Police are still investigating a possible motive and have asked anybody with information to come forward.

Janse van Rensburg says they are still tracing the suspects and no arrests have been made.
