Members of Ekurhuleni District Crime Intelligence, Reigerpark SAPS, Tactical Response Team Unit and EMPD conducted an Intelligence driven operation to follow up on information regarding Lesotho Nationals who were alleged to be involved in robberies and illegal mining in the Joe Slovo informal settlement.
The teams managed to recover four unlicensed firearms with ammunition as well as explosive equipment. Five suspects were arrested.
