LIMPOPO – The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation in Limpopo Province has launched a manhunt for armed suspects who allegedly robbed Fidelity security officials.
It is alleged that on 4 August 2023, at about 08:39 Fidelity Cash Solutions Security official was about to load money into the Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) at Masingita Mall in Malamulele when he was accosted by a group of about 6 men who were armed with firearms.
It is further alleged that the suspects pointed the official with firearms and robbed him 2 canisters containing an undisclosed amount of money.
During the robbery, a firearm with ammunition belonging to the security company were also robbed.
It is reported that the suspects fired several shots before they fled the scene with a white Nissan NP 300 single cab. No one was reportedly injured during the shooting.
