Police have arrested two men in connection with the death of a 13-year-old boy from Warrenvale and a subsequent house robbery.
Members of the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit (Murder and Robbery) apprehended the suspects on Wednesday, 4 March 2026, in Warrenton. The suspects, aged 23 and 27, face charges of house robbery and murder.
Authorities were alerted to the incident on Saturday, 28 February 2026, at approximately 14:25. The victim’s parents reported that the boy’s body was discovered in the living room of the family home.
A post-mortem examination has been conducted to determine the cause of death. The results of the autopsy are pending and will be incorporated into the ongoing investigation.
Further investigation revealed that property had been stolen from the residence. Police successfully recovered the suspected stolen goods.
