A male suspect was arrested for drug possession in Johannesburg on Tuesday, 03 February 2026, following a seizure of narcotics with an estimated street value of ten thousand rand.
The arrest occurred at approximately 17:30 at the corner of Robinson and Albertina Sisulu Street in Mayfair. Members of the Johannesburg Flying Squad, while on patrol, stopped and searched the individual.
The search led to the recovery of one packet of crystal meth and sixteen additional ziplock packets containing the same substance.
He is expected to appear in a Magistrates’ Court in the near future.
