On Wednesday, 28 January 2026, Darling police arrested a 30-year-old Malmesbury man for drug dealing and linked him to an attempted murder investigation.
Acting on information, police spotted a suspect vehicle on the R315 around 09:00. The driver fled on foot but was apprehended. A search yielded 504 Mandrax tablets and 19 straws of Tik.
During processing, police discovered the suspect is also wanted in connection with an ongoing attempted murder case in Malmesbury.
He will appear in the Malmesbury Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 29 January 2026, on drug dealing charges.
