Early Thursday morning, police arrested two men and seized a rifle hidden under a wooden floor during a raid in Makhaza Kraal, Khayelitsha.
Acting on information from Crime Intelligence, members of Public Order Policing searched the identified premises.
The operation resulted in the arrest of two males, aged 51 and 52, for the illegal possession of a firearm. Drugs were also confiscated.
