On Monday evening, 19 January 2026, police arrested two women for drug possession in Khayelitsha.
Members of the Makhaza Crime Prevention Unit acted on received information and searched a premises in SST Block, Town Two. During the search, they discovered 160 mandrax tablets and two bags of dagga.
The two adult females were arrested at the scene for possession of the drugs. They are scheduled to appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrate’s Court today.
