Two Foreign Nationals to Appear in Musina Court for Hardware Store Burglary

Two foreign male nationals, aged 29 and 42, will appear in the Musina Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 19 January 2026. They face charges of business burglary and possession of suspected stolen property.

The burglary occurred at a local Musina hardware store on Monday, 12 January 2026. The premises were locked that evening and found in order the next morning. Upon further inspection, staff discovered the palisade and iron mesh fences had been cut. One roll of mesh fence was confirmed stolen.

Police were notified and an investigation began.

On Saturday, 17 January 2026, Musina Detectives and a Task Team conducted an intelligence-driven operation in Musina Nancefield, leading to the suspects’ apprehension.

Following preliminary investigations, police proceeded to a household in Matswale Phase Three. There, they found and seized one roll of mesh wire fence, suspected to be the stolen property.

The investigation continues.
