Two suspects, aged 24 and 29, will appear in the Seshego Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 19 January 2026, for a murder in Mohodi Madikana under the Mogwadi policing area.
On Monday, 22 September 2025, at approximately 21:00, police responded to a tip-off about a murder at a residence in Mohodi village. They found the victim with a gunshot wound, lying in a pool of blood.
Preliminary reports indicate the suspects called the victim, ordered him outside, and then kicked open his door when he did not respond. They assaulted the victim and his brother before shooting the victim in the upper body. The suspects fled the scene in a bakkie.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
