A celebration marking a young woman’s successful completion of matric was violently disrupted when her boyfriend was robbed & assaulted at gunpoint at his home in Trenance Park – KZN yesterday afternoon (Saturday).
The man was celebrating with his girlfriend after she received her matric results when two (2) males arrived at the property, one (1) of whom was armed with a firearm.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 23:51. The victim informed Reaction Officers that the suspects confronted him, forcefully confiscated his alcohol, and assaulted him by striking him with the firearm on the shoulder.
The suspects are known to the victim and allegedly expressed anger over not being invited to the celebration….
