Police are investigating the murders of three men found dead in Meqheleng on Friday, 16 January 2026.
Authorities were called to a residence in Zone 2 at 23:57 following reports of a shooting. Preliminary information indicates that sounds like gunshots were heard from a rented room on the property at approximately 22:00.
Upon entry, police discovered three African male victims, aged 26, 26, and 28, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services confirmed the deaths at the scene.
The room was ransacked. The motive and suspects are unknown. The investigation continues.
