Police have arrested a 29-year-old man for an ATM bombing near Vryburg in October 2025.
The arrest occurred on Friday, 16 January 2026, at a residence in Monakato Slovo Section, Phokeng. It followed a tip-off to Crime Intelligence regarding the suspect’s location.
Members of Crime Intelligence and the Provincial Crime Combatting Team located and arrested the suspect. He has been charged with ATM bombing.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in the Vryburg Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 19 January 2026.
