Police are searching for five suspects following a burglary at a fuel garage in Phiphidi Mapitas Village, Thohoyandou, on Thursday, 15 January 2026.
The incident occurred at approximately 02:28. Suspects broke through a wall to access the building housing an ATM and used tools to cut it open.
While fleeing, they dropped the ATM’s cash cassettes. Police recovered an undisclosed amount of cash at the scene. The suspects remain at large.
