On Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 21:00, police attached to Operation Shanela II arrested a 51-year-old man in the Harare policing precinct.
Acting on received information, members searched a premises and found a 9mm firearm with three rounds of ammunition.
The suspect was arrested for possession of a firearm and ammunition. He will appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrates’ Court once charged.
