Police have arrested a man for the alleged murder of his 29-year-old brother-in-law.
The body was discovered at approximately 04:50 on Sunday, 11 January 2026, near a church at the corner of De Villiers and Church Streets. The victim had fatal stab wounds to the chest and back and was declared dead at the scene.
He was identified by his sister. Following preliminary investigations, a suspect was arrested.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Bethlehem Magistrate’s Court on a murder charge.
