A 41-year-old man was arrested by the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Calvinia after methamphetamine (tik) valued at approximately R50,000 was seized.
The arrest took place in the early hours of Saturday, 11 January 2026, at a Calvinia residence. Police acted on community intelligence alleging drugs were being transported from Vredendal.
