On Tuesday, 07 January 2026, the Selosesha Tactical Response Team conducted a proactive tactical operation in the Thaba Nchu CBD. The operation resulted in the removal of an illegal firearm.
A 32-year-old male suspect, allegedly from Ratau Location in Thaba Nchu, was arrested and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm. The suspect is awaiting arraignment and is scheduled to appear in the Thaba Nchu Magistrate’s Court soon.
