A 42-year-old man will appear for a bail application at the Moutse Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 08 January 2026, charged with rape.
The alleged incident occurred on Friday, 26 December 2025, at approximately 10:45 at an RDP house in Walkaal. The complainant, a 39-year-old local radio presenter, reported being raped by a colleague and former boyfriend, who is also a radio presenter.
The suspect was arrested on 30 December 2025, appeared in court the same day, and was remanded in custody until his next court date on 08 January 2026.
