A 42-year-old foreign male was arrested in the Vhembe District on Saturday, 03 January 2026, for Contravention of the Immigration Act and for the possession and dealing in illicit cigarettes.
The arrest was made during a joint operation. Authorities seized illicit cigarettes with an estimated street value of forty thousand Rands (R40,000).
The suspect remains in custody.
