Tenderpreneur arrested for drunk driving, reckless driving, and fleeing from law enforcement officers

Inkosi Mhlabunzima Maphumulo House: This morning at 5am, once again, I received a report from our No Nonsense RTI team detailing the success of the #NenzaniLaEzweni Operation.

We wish to present to the people of KwaZulu-Natal the following figures in relation to the arrest of motorists for drunk driving:

Stanger – 39

2 Policemen and one from Gauteng.
2 females and 37 males.

Newcastle – 36

1 Senior Municipal Official.
3 educators.
1 nurse.

Port Shepstone – 20

A motorist from Gauteng who is also a service provider with government tenders worth billions of rands.

7 females and 13 males.

The arrest of a motorist (a service provider) who drove recklessly towards oncoming traffic, skipped four red robots, fled from RTI officers, and hid inside a house is a clear indication that we are determined to restore law and order.

In particular, we salute the female RTI officer who pursued the reckless motorist together with her colleague.

The two were brave and fearless in defense of innocent road users.

A swift response from other RTI team members and SAPS was a display of an enduring partnership focusing on creating hope for a better future.
