The Mphephu Police are investigating a murder case following the discovery of a woman’s body in Mudimeli Village on Sunday, 21 December 2025, at approximately 08:00.
Police and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene at the aunt’s residence of the deceased, where they found the 42-year-old victim lying on the ground. She had sustained serious injuries to her upper body.
The identity of the deceased is withheld pending investigation. Preliminary information indicates she was last seen leaving a tavern accompanied by a male person.
No arrests have been made. Police investigations continue.
