Limpopo Provincial Commissioner of Police, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has directed Ritavi police to use all available resources to locate a male suspect in a fatal stabbing.
Police were called to Letaba Hospital regarding a murder. They found a deceased female victim in a consulting room. She had been transported by ambulance from Dr C.N. Phatudi Hospital at approximately 02:00 and had succumbed to stab wounds to the stomach.
Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was attacked and stabbed at Wisani village on Monday, 15 December 2025, at around 22:00. The suspect is alleged to be the victim’s ex-boyfriend.
The motive is unknown. Domestic violence is being considered.
