A 30-year-old E-Hailing driver was hijacked after being lured to Waterloo – KZN under the pretence of a ride request.
The victim was driving his Toyota Rumion with registration BC 56 DC ZN when four suspects ambushed him at the requested location. Two of the suspects were armed with handguns. They tied & blindfolded him before robbing him of his cellphone and shoes. The suspects then abandoned him in Ndondolo – KZN.
The male flagged down a passerby and used their phone to contact Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance.
