A 43-year-old woman appeared before the Vuwani Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 31 July 2025, facing charges for possession of dagga and illicit cigarettes with an estimated street value exceeding R1.6 million.
The suspect, identified as Tshidada Ntanganedzeni, was remanded in police custody until her next court appearance on Thursday, 07 August 2025, for profiling and a formal bail application.
The arrest follows a successful operation by members of the Provincial Organized Crime Unit on Wednesday, 30 July 2025. Acting on intelligence regarding a suspected drugs hotspot in Lwamondo Khumbe Village, officers conducted a tactical raid at approximately 11:00.
