Three male suspects, aged between 20 and 23, were arrested on Thursday, 12 June 2025, during a coordinated operation involving the Middelburg Flying Squad, Cyber Tracker, and the Provincial Tracking Team.
The suspects were intercepted at approximately 08:00 on the R575 road between Middelburg and Witbank while traveling in a white Ford Figo with Mpumalanga registration plates. Police confirmed that the vehicle, valued at around R60,000, had been reported stolen at the Middelburg SAPS.
Authorities swiftly took the suspects into custody, charging them with possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle. They are scheduled to appear before the Middelburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 17 June 2025.
