Members of KZNVIP Emergency Response Teams were dispatched to reports of a house on fire on Acara Street in Stonebridge, Phoenix
Upon arrival of Kznvip teams a 62-year-old female was still in the home and evacuated to safety by Community members, she was treated by Medics for smoke inhalation.
Fire Departments swift response to the scene lead to the fire being contained from spreading to neighboring houses.
It’s believed that known drug users started a fire behind the home in the Grass area which later spread due to the wind and became uncontrollable near the home.
Extensive damage was noted to the home, no fatalities were reported.
All emergency services were in attendance
